Wisdom for Peacemaking

ДЗЕНЬ 5 З 7

As believers, we are sheep in a world full of wolves. At times we think we live in a sheep world, but that kind of thinking leads to great disappointment. When we have that mentality and see an evil act, we wonder where God is. Let me assure you this is a wolf world, so let’s heed our shepherd’s instruction to be both wise and innocent.

King David, formerly a shepherd, encourages us to trust our shepherd. Read Psalm 23.

Jesus, your shepherd, will teach you how to be both serpent-wise and dove-innocent. He will give you the wisdom to be vigilant and keep your heart from compassion fatigue. He is a great shepherd in this wolf world.

APPLICATION

In your relationships, are you allowing Jesus to be your shepherd? As his sheep, are you letting him lead you? Remember, the shepherd will protect you and give you all you need. He will provide green pastures for your relationships and restoration for your soul. He will take you down the paths of righteousness.

Lord, I see that we are living in a wolf world. I am grateful to be in your flock, under your care. Open my eyes to understand your kind of wisdom and your kind of innocence. I want to pursue them both. (Continue praying.)
