Remembering The Past Will Help You Today:

All along our lives, God has been doing things we can remember. We know when God showed up big for us in a certain time and place. In the Old Testament, they would build altars in the places where they experienced God. We don't build altars today, but it is important to figuratively put a stake in the ground so we can look behind us, see all the stakes and know that God did amazing things. 

He is at work every day in our lives. We might not see it or feel it, but He is working through and with all believers, and His timing is perfect to bring things together when it's right. The stakes in the ground just remind us He has done it before, and He will do it again.
