When you ask your friends or Google a website, hundreds of different ideas can be found: a good education, parental love, a house without tax, challenges, affirmations, hope, or simply being a good role model for your children. Speaking of role models, what exactly is one? Is it a successful person in all areas, good parents, or devoted Christians? David knew it, God will bless those with fear of the Lord and their children. In Genesis 26:24, God said, "I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for sake of your father Abraham."

Prayer: Father Lord, help us to turn our eyes to wisdom and apply our heart to understand your heart. Help us to store up your commands within us and treasure your words as gold and silver, so that we can understand the fear of the Lord and be a role model for our children and spiritual children.
