Introduction

God commands Jeremiah to record the vision of a restored Israel and Judah. God will bring the people home and will oppress those who oppressed them.

Jeremiah 30:1-24

The LORD says, “I will restore my people to their land and have mercy on every family; Jerusalem will be rebuilt, and its palace restored.”

Reflect

Reread verses 8-11. What does God promise? What are your thoughts about God’s promise  that his punishment will be fair (verse 11)? What does today’s reading teach you about God?

Pray

Almighty and faithful God, I come before you with a humble heart, seeking your mercy and forgiveness for my wrongdoings. Thank you for restoring me to a right relationship with you. Help me to be a channel of your grace and love to everyone I encounter today. Amen.
