Journey With Jesus 365ናሙና

Jesus gave us the recipe for happiness: serving others. He and the disciples were eating together, and Jesus did something that surprised them. He picked up the bowl of water that the servants were supposed to use and bent down to wash His disciples’ feet. They were shocked and surprised to see their Master stooping down to do this dirty, humiliating job. Jesus had a lesson to teach them: No one is above anyone else. The most fulfilling thing you can do is to love and serve others.

But even after this lesson from Jesus, Judas Iscariot left to betray him. He missed the message. His focus was on making money for himself, and he betrayed his friend. What a sad and lonely ending to a life lived for oneself!
