Jesus Christ Is All in AllSample

Jesus Christ Is All in All

DAY 10 OF 11

All the world will hear about Jesus

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations” (Matthew 24:14)

When Jesus was about to leave the earth and return to His Father in heaven, He commissioned His disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

Only a few years later, the apostle Paul was devoting his life to this mission. Passionately he wrote about “the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister” (Colossians 1:23). As believers shared the gospel, the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs, as Jesus had promised beforehand. Paul testified that “the word of truth… indeed in the whole world is bearing fruit and increasing” (Colossians 1:6).

When you look around, it may sometimes seem that you are the only one who believes in God. “The world” does not seem to know Him. However, Jesus Christ has promised that the good news about His salvation work will be proclaimed throughout the whole world. When we look closely, we see that many people groups and nations around the world have already been reached and millions have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Many more will follow, till their number is complete!

How do you see God’s kingdom present in this world?

About this Plan

Jesus Christ Is All in All

Jesus Christ is greater than all. By Him all things were created, and in Him all things hold together. Moreover, in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He forgives us all our trespasses, reconciling to God all things, whether on earth or in heaven. If we are united with Jesus, there’s nothing more to long for. He really is all in all!
