The Seven Gates of Grace

DAY 4 OF 7

The Open Door

As we know, Italy is a country that thrives on art and culture; there are thousands of museums scattered throughout the nation, and they all contain exceptional works of art.

No other nation can boast the abundance of precious materials like Italy, yet they are also the country that appreciates its wealth the least.

A non-negligible problem is the high price of tickets which makes it difficult for many families to invest in this direction. In recent years, the problem has been solved by organizing days where museum tickets are free.

Of course, the answer is extremely positive: people are taking full advantage of a valuable asset that typically comes at a cost, especially for those who can't afford it.

Jesus did the same thing with the Philadelphia Church. He knew their works, their faithfulness, their hard work, and their desire to progress -- and he was happy about it.

But he also knew their economic, political, and social weakness. Jesus met their weakness by opening a door of providence for them.

Jesus also wants to speak to your life. He doesn't care how large your bank account may be. He does not hope that you can enrich his work with your own strength.

He cares about how much you appreciate his presence and how much you want to know his Word.

Don't worry about what you don't have for his kingdom. Instead, focus on finding His face and His heart. He will provide for you, opening the door to his heart for you.
