Barefoot in His Presence

DAY 2 OF 6

Let Your Kingdom Come

"Kingdom" can be defined as the culture of Heaven. Culture is the way of life of a particular people or, call it the ideas, customs, and social behavior of a particular people.

Heaven is ALL about God. God sits on the Throne. He rules by the Word that proceeds from His Mouth. In Heaven, His Word carries Absolute Authority. His Throne is surrounded by Angels that worship Him. These Angels become His Messengers as His Word directs them to minister to His sons and daughters.

Kingdom cannot be accessed or experienced without a Kingdom mindset. A Kingdom mindset requires repentance. Both John the Baptist's and Jesus’ messages were “Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2 & 4:17)

Repentance is the way to obtain a soft heart by grieving over sin; continually upgrading your mind and thought patterns to align with the Mind, Will, and Purpose of God. The condition of your heart will determine how far and deep you can go in your relationship with Him. The Potter works best with soft clay. Keep your heart soft and tender.

“Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.” (Proverbs 4:23, AMP).

Seed germinates best in ground that is soaked with rain water and well prepared. Likewise, Kingdom Life is impossible without the working of the Holy Spirit. Transformation and change are only possible by a deep working of His Holy Spirit within us.

“…no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:3, NKJV).

Deep, life-changing encounters with the Holy Spirit transform us from life to death and bring us to kneel before His Lordship.

Holy Spirit Life enables us to know God! “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (John 17:3, NKJV).

It is all about knowing Him deeply and intimately. Holy Spirit Life flows from that place.

Golden calf worship is when we create a god for ourselves as we would like him to be. We bow down and worship the god we created because he is exactly the way we want him to be. Golden calf worship is the exact opposite of the true worship of JHWH.

Jeroboam became King of the Northern Ten Tribes. His challenge was that the people of God had to appear three times a year before him in the Temple in Jerusalem, which was in Judah. Jeroboam “thought to himself” (1 Kings 12:26) that his people would become loyal to the king of Judah, turn against him, and eventually kill him. He didn’t consult the Lord.

His solution for this problem was to build two golden calves. He told his people, “You don’t have to take the trouble to go to Jerusalem.”

The heart of golden calf worship is:

•To make it easier for the people

•Compromise

•Deception

It cost him dearly! In the end, he lost everything!

About this Plan

Barefoot in His Presence

A FIRE THAT KEEPS ON BURNING That is the way God chose to reveal Himself to Moses. God loves to involve people in what He is doing. He reached out to Moses who, like me and you, blew a previous opportunity. God fills people with His Spirit, who works in them a hunger, which is best expressed through prayer; the Infinite One touching and empowering the finite ones.
