Building Wealth

When it comes to wealth, there are many different ideas and images that come to mind.

The Bible speaks about wealth in many areas and words such as advantage, increase, and power. While the definition of gaining wealth varies for everyone, the core comes back to the basis that people generally want to improve their lives.

Some correlate wealth with the word “rich,” but some of the most miserable people in the world are “rich.” They have more money than they know what to do with, and yet happiness and joy escape them.

We know that “the peace that passes all understanding” (Philippians 4:7) only comes from having a relationship with God. Viewing ourselves as managers of His provision sets us apart from the rest of the world. If you align your work with what God desires, you will have contentment like no other. Not having an all-about-me mentality will help you take control of your finances and build wealth that will impact your family for generations to come.

1. Do you want to be rich or wealthy? Why?
2. Do you have realistic expectations on how long building wealth will take?
3. Who's money, is it?
4. What actions will you commit to today to be the leader God intends you to be?
