Day 5: Trusting in God's Guidance

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, as I seek to strengthen my influence with my child, help me trust in Your guidance. Fill me with the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me in every step. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Bible Verse:

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Devotional:

In your journey of parenting, it is vital to trust in God's guidance and surrender your efforts to Him. Despite your best intentions and efforts, there may be moments of doubt, confusion, or uncertainty. Remember that God is always with you, ready to provide wisdom, strength, and direction.

Make prayer a constant habit in your parenting journey. Seek God's guidance daily, acknowledging your need for His wisdom. Rely on the Holy Spirit to lead you in making decisions that align with His will. Trust that God's plans for your child's life are far greater than anything you could imagine.

As you trust in God's guidance, rest in His love and grace. Know that your influence is not solely dependent on your own abilities, but on the power and work of the Holy Spirit within you. As you rely on Him, He will empower you to be a parent who influences your child's life for the glory of God.
