Precious Moments That Count For Eternity

DAY 50 OF 366

God Has Visited

The day after healing the centurion’s servant in Capernaum, Jesus went to a city called Nain. His disciples and a large crowd were with Him as he approached the gate of the town. At the same time, a dead man, the only son of a widow, was being carried out of the city. Naturally, the widow was weeping from having lost her only child. There was a large crowd from the city with her, but she was alone. She had just lost the only person she considered family.
This widow must have felt like all was lost. The entire city probably believed her life was over. It was like someone had drawn a big full stop and this was how her story would end. It was at that moment that Jesus walked in. When He saw her, He was moved with compassion and said to her, “Do not weep.” Then He went on to raise her dead son to life. In an instant, the full stop was removed!
Today, you might feel like the problems of life have knocked you down. Maybe, people around you have told you that you will never recover, or that you will always be in debt. Guess what; Jesus is about to walk onto the scene. He is about to change everything. And the people who thought your life was ruined forever are going to be astonished, and say, ‘God has visited His people.’
Stop weeping! Wipe away your tears. Begin to live again! God is going to visit you, and the full stop will be removed, forever!

Prayer
Father God, I thank You that my life is not over. You are about to visit me. I receive healing, financial breakthrough and every good thing from You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
