Divine Detoursናሙና
There is no such thing as a “Microwave of Purpose”
In Day 1, we learned about sudden changes we encounter in life, those detours that change our lives completely. Time seems to pass more slowly in those detours. However, we must understand that a crucial factor in developing our Christian faith and spiritual maturity is time itself.
The Process of Time
Naturally, we do not like to wait. When we find ourselves stuck in traffic or waiting in a line, we become impatient or irritated because we feel that we are wasting our time. What we need to realize, is that there is no such thing as “wasted time” for those who follow Christ, because everything that we go through, God uses for our good. I have heard many people say: “If I knew back then what I know now, if I had met Christ before, I would not have gone through ____.” What I hope you understand from today’s reading is that every single thing you have gone through, God will use as a tool, as a part of your testimony, for the edification of others.
God Redeems Everything
All of the time, energy, resources, friendships, and decisions that you believe you have ruined, God will restore them completely. He makes all things new. It’s what He does. You might find yourself on a detour that is taking longer than expected. When you find yourself growing impatient, remember that even in the waiting, God is doing a great work in you. This process is not about how quickly you reach the end goal, but about who you become on the journey. Joseph waited 13 years, facing innumerable trials and tribulations. David waited 15 years before he became king. Abraham waited 25 years before he had the son that God promised. Moses waited 40 years in a desert. Jesus waited 30 years before making his ministry public.
Are you waiting? You are not alone. Wait on the Lord, and allow him to shape your heart on this journey to your final destination. It’s not about how fast you get there, but how you get there.

ስለዚህ እቅድ
We have a God who never fails to protect, guide, and save us. The evil that the enemy intended to use against you, God will use for good. In this plan, we will learn what to do when life changes in unexpected ways and how God uses those times.
