Behold: 7-Day Prayer Journey

DAY 1 OF 7

Our plan for the next 7 days is to read a well-known 'Behold' passage in the Bible (you may find you need to use the NASB or NKJV for the word 'behold' to appear), then to launch you into a time of prayer we have a short written prayer, and questions to prompt your own personal prayer life.

BEHOLD THE NEW

It's so reassuring to know that God is constantly doing new things in our lives. Whether it is through new seasons, new days, new opportunities, or new expressions of His love that flow to us. He is the God of the New.

Sometimes we can find ourselves in challenging seasons, just like the Israelites were experiencing when they received this word of prophecy. God, through Isaiah, encouraged His people and us now that no matter what our yesterday may look like, no matter how dark or hopeless it may seem, today we can be full of hope and faith as we behold His great promise of the “new."

Let’s Pray:

“Holy Spirit, we thank You as we look ahead of us with great hope and faith that You are making all things in our lives “new." We agree with Your word to not allow our minds and hearts to be pulled down by the past when things may not have worked out as we thought. Today, we behold the new mercies, new hope, and new opportunities, and we agree with You for their manifestation in Jesus' name. Amen”

  1. What are the things you need to let go of from the past?
  2. What are the promises in God's word for your life that you can declare over yourself into this new season?
  3. What new things can you begin to thank God about even before you see them come to pass?
Day 2

About this Plan

Behold: 7-Day Prayer Journey

Join us for a 7-day prayer devotional as we take some of the beautiful ‘behold’ passages in the bible and use them to focus our minds & hearts toward some specific prayer thoughts. To ‘behold’ means; to contemplate, inspect, observe with care, see prophetically, and look earnestly. As you behold our God, we believe your prayers will be fuelled with greater hope and faith. So, let’s begin!
