Called and Chosen - Understanding Your Identity and Destiny in Christናሙና
Sonship
Today I want us to look at our Sonship in God.
Some truths about us that are a part of our DNA.
I want us to meditate and marinate in this truth because it will set us free to become all that God wants us to be—free from shame, guilty, condemnation, poor identity, and self-esteem. It will free you from striving, competition, comparison, jealousy, lust, feeling like you are “less than” fully loved by God.
All these patterns of thought are lies. We have empowered them by believing in them.
What does this new identity and DNA give us?
Let us look at three things today.
1. GOD becomes my Father. Do you know and believe that He is truly a good, good Father? The starting point of knowing who we are is knowing whose we are. We need a right understanding of God. He truly does want the best for us.
2. The supernatural is our new "natural." We need to know that we live from a place of victory; therefore, nothing is impossible for us with God. I can take leaps of faith. Impossible is not a word that should be in our dictionary. Greater things we shall do than what Jesus did when he was on the Earth.
3. I can trust God because He is good and can do the impossible, and all His promises are “Yes and Amen!" My new identity gives me access to all the spiritual blessings.
It’s all in my account but not yet in my possession. - Bill Johnson
I have to cash the check so that I can use that favor of access to be a blessing to others and to fulfill God’s mandate for me on this Earth.
How much access I have comes by revelation. The revelation comes through relationship and living from His presence and not out of religious duty and performance.
REFLECT:
Can you recognize some old patterns that you need to replace? For example, people-pleasing, competitiveness, comparison. What scriptures can you remind yourself of to undo these patterns of thought and behavior?
How can I look at problems as possibilities for the supernatural to become my life's normal experience?

Do you know that you have been handpicked by God to enjoy all the riches and blessings in Jesus? Yet instead of living like royalty we can eat from the rubbish heap and stay stuck. God has a beautiful purpose for your life. This six-day plan is based on Ephesians 1:3-5 and is written by Navaz D'Cruz of Word Of Grace Church.
