Strength for the Work
Imposter Syndrome is a thief. It comes to (kill) your confidence, (steal) your sense of self, and ultimately, (destroy) your faith in following God's plan for your life. It is notorious for showing its face without an invitation and it isn't moved when it's not greeted with a warm welcome.
When we buy into Imposter Syndrome, we subscribe to a series of limiting beliefs.
The belief that we are not good enough.
The belief that we are not qualified.
The belief that someone else is more capable to do it than we are.
The belief that we don't have enough educational experience for the work.
All of these beliefs keep us stuck and stagnant. They cripple us from walking the path to purpose. But here's the thing:
In some cases, you may not have the educational experience. You may not be qualified according to the status quo. And there may be someone who might be able to do the work better than you. All of these things can be true, but they don't cancel out the ultimate truth: GOD HAS CONSIDERED AND STRENGTHENED YOU FOR THE WORK
Whoever God calls, He also equips with the strength to perform the work in its entirety, and excellently. Let that be your resolve for today and for the rest of your life.
Father, thank You for considering me. Through the strength You lavish upon me daily, I have everything that I need to fulfill the work You have called me to.
