Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith ናሙና

Here is some fresh encouragement for our thirsting, weary souls. We may feel overwhelmed and anxious, burdened with uncertainty and doubt. The days may seem relentless with the onslaught of struggle and pain. Everything we “see”, everywhere we “look”, we might be faced with bad news and worse news. Yet, this is what our Lord reminds us—this is the confidence we have—that all we see is temporary. It will pass away. Yes, they definitely are “afflictions” but that need not force us to lose heart. There is an unseen renewal occurring day by day which will eventually be manifested in eternity. We do not understand all of it now, but our hope rests upon the One who is the Truth. He will never lie. So let us run with endurance; there is a mighty crowd of witnesses cheering us on if we could only see them (Hebrews 12:1).

Pray for:

• The eyes of faith to look at the things that are unseen.

• Trust in God’s word and His promises.

• The Church to not lose heart.
