Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith ናሙና

Sometimes our prayers can be groans. The news we hear doesn’t seem to ease up. The hits just keep coming, one after another. Yet, in the midst of the hopelessness, our God offers us something unique – He invites us to be honest with Him. There is no need to pretend with Him. No need to whip up spiritual fervor and zeal. He knows our frame, that we are only dust. He sees our pain, our burdens, and our bondage. And He has compassion on us. He comforts us. He is our Father after all. So when we cry before Him, will He not hold us close? So today, let our hope rest in the knowledge that our Father hears our non-verbal prayers – our groans, sighs, and tears. May His comfort surround us.

• Every child of God to experience God’s comforting presence personally today.

• God’s mercy and compassion to transform this situation.
