Lukeናሙና

Jesus’ death on the cross shocked his followers and they didn’t believe him when he predicted his death and resurrection.  In this passage, Jesus appears to this group and they thought he was a ghost.  Can you imagine what it would have been like for them?  They watched Jesus die and they watched him being placed in the tomb.  I can only imagine how crazy that experience must have been like for them.  Seeing Jesus and knowing that he conquered death proved that Jesus was truly who he said he was.  They got to be witnesses to this miracle!  It is because of this miracle that we can now spend eternity with God!  We can believe what Jesus says is true because he proved it and these disciples witnessed it.  Is there something that you are struggling to believe about God?  How can you take steps in believing that he is who he says he is?

 Challenge: Today we challenge you to be open and honest with God.  Take some time and talk to him about any doubts or fears that you might have.  Ask God to help you trust him in all areas of your life.
