The Greatest News (Week 1)

DAY 6 OF 7

The Birth of Jesus—the greatest gift God has given humanity, besides salvation, is His only son! Welcome to our Christmas devotional. As you journey together through the wonder of God’s amazing plan and provision, we pray that you have fun, while discovering more about God’s heart for everyone. We pray that every truth you learn through this plan will be remembered and carried with you through life as you journey with, and always follow, Jesus.

READ:

The Nativity Story’ by Juliet Davis or in Matthew 1:18-23

Jesus’s birth was the beginning of God’s amazing plan to save the world.

When Jesus grew up, He died on the cross to take away all of our sins (the bad things we’ve done) so that we could know Father God as our best friend.

The Nativity story reminds us of the hope we have because of Jesus! He is the hope of the world!

ASK:

Do you know Father God as your best friend? We have to say sorry to Him for the bad things we do and ask Him to forgive us. You can ask your grown up to help you.

REMEMBER:

But the angel reassured them, saying, “Don’t be afraid. For I have come to bring you good news, the most joyous news the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere!" (Luke 2:10 TPT)

SAY:

Thank you God that you sent your Son,

Help us to remember while we have fun,

Give us the courage to share the greatest news,

With everyone, everywhere, that all may hear,

As we shout it from the rooftops, loud and clear!

Amen!
