DAY THREE: Jesus is Here in Your Fear
Confronting fear always starts in your night season. The disciples were afraid because they could not see Jesus in their night season. They were in the boat, heading to the other side without Jesus.
Awakened from their sleep by His supernatural presence, fear set in because they thought Jesus was a ghost. Their fear, their perceived aberration, grew into an absolute.
How often do we let this very thing happen in our own lives? When life is chugging along smoothly, we put Jesus on a shelf or somewhere in the depths of our hearts and minds. Then when a crisis comes, we cry out in fear because we have taken our eyes from our Savior. We have to scramble around, trying to remember where we last felt His presence in our lives.
Jesus never leaves us or forsakes us. He is always right where we left off in our relationship. If you don’t feel Him close by, it’s time to retrace your steps and remember where you were when you walked away and stopped spending time with Him.
Never negotiate your anointing away because you do not believe Jesus is close by.
