Dink ook aan Noag. Hy het geglo wat God vir hom gesê het en het in alle erns ’n skip gebou om sy familie te red. Gelowig het hy geluister en gedoen, al was daar nog geen teken van reën of oorstromings wat sou kom nie. Sy geloof het duidelik gewys hoe ongelowig die ander mense was, en daarom kan hulle nie nou verskonings maak nie. Noag het gewys dat vertroue op God ’n mens vrymaak voor God. God het vir Abraham gesê dat hy sy goed moet vat en na ’n ver plek moet trek wat God dan vir hom as ’n blyplek sou gee. Abraham het glad nie geweet waar dit was nie, maar het gehoorsaam sy goed gevat en gegaan.
