En Jesus sê: Tot 'n oordeel het Ek in hierdie wêreld gekom, sodat die wat nie sien nie, mag sien, en die wat sien, blind mag word. En dié van die Fariseërs wat by Hom was, het dit gehoor en vir Hom gesê: Is ons dan ook blind? Jesus antwoord hulle: As julle blind was, sou julle geen sonde hê nie; maar nou sê julle: Ons sien! Daarom bly julle sonde.
