Jy kan water drink uit die stroom in die vallei, en Ek het vir die kraaie gesê hulle moet vir jou kos bring.” Elia het gegaan en hy het gedoen wat die Here vir hom gesê het. Hy het in die Krit-vallei anderkant die Jordaan-rivier gaan bly. Die kraaie het elke oggend en elke aand brood en vleis vir hom gebring, en hy het water uit die stroom in die vallei gedrink.
