Divine Flashlight

God’s Word, just like a giant divine flashlight, illuminates our paths in life. The light of His Word gives us the direction and guidance we need to take the next step. As we seek Him daily through prayer and the reading of His Word, He’ll confirm the way we should go. His Word brings clarity. It is living, active, and applicable to any and every situation we face. When we come to a crossroads in life and we’re not sure which way to go, His Word reminds us to “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33).
