Nothing is Impossible with God

Indiana head football coach Tom Allen says, "Work like it depends on you, but pray like it depends on God." That is a great perspective to have. We do play a role in helping to build movements of prayer: We can ask others to join us; we can model prayer; and we can study God's word to see His perspective. That is the work of building a prayer movement. But there are times when the outcome seems impossible. That is when we pray like it depends on God. Mark Gauthier reminds us that nothing is impossible with God.

What a great vision. Our focus is not on how hard we work at prayer - and it will take work. Our focus must be on God's will. The more we learn and understand it, the more confident we can be that nothing is impossible with God. That is how to build a movement of prayer - by praying with others according to God's desires. And that is how the world is changed.
