Valleys are part of the journey of life. In the physical world, we often have to walk through valleys to get to greener pastures. If you are experiencing some kind of low in your life right now, remember that your shepherd is near to you and will guide you along in those particularly rough patches.
Allow yourself to envision what is beyond the valley: fresher waters, calmer weather, and greener pastures. Let the hope of what is on the other side make you stronger as you weather the storm, knowing that you have your Savior beside you all along the way.
Jesus, as I face valleys in my life, give me vision that sees beyond the troubles, knowing that you are there to protect and comfort me along the way to better things.
