But why me?

“The Body” needs every part - each other - in order to be strong and healthy.

The body of Christ; the Church, is made up of a variety of people who possess a variety of gifts, all of which are necessary for the church to be “The Church.”

We must support and protect each other.

No part of the church can function properly on its own. However insignificant you may think your role is, that's the lie of the enemy because each part is important.

You are significant!

Imagine a body without toes or fingers or a body without a hand.

Or even worse, imagine a body consisting only of ears… now that's a frightening sight!

You might say "But the body can still function without a tooth and a few toes."

But you tell me, what would the toe or the tooth do without the whole body?

You also can’t say to another part "You aren't as valuable, so we don't need you." Because the truth is, God gives great honor to the parts “we think” are lesser. They receive honor because they do whatever they do with great humility.

We need the whole body to function in fullness.

The key is that all the people in the church work together for the greater purpose - to share the good news of His love. We aren't always equally equipped, but we should be equally committed to the call, helping as best we can with the gifts and talents God has given us.

Each part was designed perfectly, and each part matters.

YOU matter.

We are ONE body with MANY parts, but with ONE goal - to see His kingdom come!
