“You Need Never Lose Your Connection with God” I don’t know what I did before GPS navigation systems! I remember constantly being late for meetings, and driving round and round in circles, frustratingly lost. And then my wife gave me a GPS for my birthday and my life has never been the same again. But there are worse ways of being lost. You can be lost in a relationship, or you can lose your own identity thanks to how society bombards you about who you should be. But even worse is to lose your soul, to lose eternity. Although we try to live good lives, we always fall far short of living the kind of way God wants us to live. But here’s the good news. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. He is the ultimate Seeker and the Ultimate Savior: And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day (John 6:39, NLT). When you trust in Jesus, no matter how messed up your life may be, you are, although never a perfect child, always perfectly his child. No one has ever been lost while trusting in Jesus, and that’s a promise! Do you trust in Jesus? Then you cannot be lost and your connection with God is secure!
