Clear Vision New Hope Devotional

DAY 2 OF 3

2 Kings 6: 17 Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.

Reflection:

Prayer is a powerful form of communication with God. Elisha knew the young man feared what he could see. How often does fear try to grip your heart based on circumstances? There are facts and realities, but there is a Word from God that will shift the tapestry of your mind and life. Prayer is a force that moves obstacles of your faith by destroying yokes and removing heavy burdens in your mind.

No matter what you are facing today. Pray that your heart opens to see and believe God has a better way. Believe that God has a way through for you to come out on top. Believe that God loves you, and be confident that His plan will not harm you but give you a hope-filled future. The Lord will never leave you in despair when you call on Him for help. Have eyes of faith today.

Response:

Put faith in the Word of God and trust God to lead you with a heart of hope and expectation for good.

Prayer:

Father God, it is in you that I put my trust. Father, you are my Rock and my Fortress. You are more powerful than any opposition attempting to deceive me into a life of fear and anxiety. I reject fear and worry now in the name of Jesus. Amen.
