Elton John famously sang that, "Sorry seems to be the hardest word." Taking the steps to reconciliation usually isn't easy and many people find it too hard to go through with. How well do you handle offering - or receiving - an apology?

Something to think about while you are reading today’s passage:

God is undeniably for wholeness and life - in every arena. Here reconciliation comes in a revelation better than most reality TV shows can conjour. Consider though; if Joseph had not given himself to living his life to the fullest, would this be how the rift with his family was resolved? What might have the scene been if he had chosen to resent his family because of his circumstances?

Something to talk about with players of The Aetherlight:

When Jefferson takes charge of restarting the Great Engine, the rest of the Resistance team is a little surprised. Up until now they hadn't thought much of the show-off scientist. You could discuss the Scarlet Man's part in bridging this gap, and how Joseph gives God the credit for how things work out in today's passage.
