Love God Greatly: God With Us

DAY 1 OF 26

SOAP – Genesis 3:15 Our Lord God Almighty had His plan of love and redemption from the beginning of time. Although Satan, through the serpent, tempted Adam and Eve to sin against God, that wasn’t the end of the story. God cursed the serpent and set in motion the promise of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Satan is the enemy of all mankind purposing to maintain separation between God and His creation. Although Satan desires to steal, kill, and destroy, our Savior, Jesus, forever lives to reconcile and redeem God’s people, give new life, and demonstrate God’s heart for His people. Who in your life needs to hear you share God’s plan of redemption? In what circumstance are you struggling with the battle between good and evil? Are you at rest in the assurance of your salvation? With redemption through Jesus Christ, we can come to Him just as we are to experience His love, power, and reconciliation. There will be a constant battle between Jesus and Satan. However, Jesus has the final victory. Father God, I thank You for sending Your Son Jesus as Your eternal plan of redemption. Although the struggle between flesh and Spirit is ongoing, help me to yield to the Spirit. Help me to rest assuredly in my salvation when I struggle in the flesh. Grant me the grace to lay aside any sin that hinders me and to always look to You as the author and finisher of my faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
