I love how God does things. He gives us guardrails with our best interests in mind. When I first started budgeting, it was mostly because I thought it was the thing to do if I wanted to get my finances in order.
As I studied Proverbs I discovered that budgeting and money management lessons can be found throughout the chapters in this timeless book.
It was fuel to my fire, but this time, not because the “smart people” told me to budget, but because the one I desire most to please gave me this sound advice to follow.
With this discovery, I can now see budgeting isn’t just a wise financial move, but can also be an act of worship to our Father and creator.
