A Dive Into Prayer

DAY 4 OF 6

Yesterday, we focused on,Your Kingdom come...

Today we are working with the third verse that Jesus said,Give us the Food we need for each day.

We have so many needs in our lives, we need food to eat, we need a  job to take care of our families, and we have personal needs. Most importantly, we need God in our lives. God knows what you need even before you ask Him and yet, He wants us to tell Him what we need.

Matthew 6:31-34  tells us,

“Don’t worry and say “What we will eat?” or “what we will drink,” or “what we will wear?” That’s what those people who don’t know God always think about. Don’t worry because your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things. What you should want most is God’s Kingdom and doing what he wants you to do. Then he will give you all these other things you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Tomorrow will have its own worries.”

Luke 11:10 says,

"Continue to search, and you will find. Continue to knock, and the door will open for you. Yes, whoever continues to ask will receive. Whoever continues to look will find. And whoever continues to knock will have the door opened for them."

When you pray, I encourage you to ask Him what you need and He will provide  you what you need, if you just simply ask and trust Him.

Questions:

  1. Where is my heart seeking? Is it in the right direction?
  2. Is my heart knocking on the right door that God placed in my life?
  3. Am I asking God the right questions that He wants me to ask?
