Wise ChoicesSample

Everyone wants to make wise choices, right? I don’t know a single person who wants to be called foolish or who is told that they make terrible choices, but if we are honest there are times we are guilty of doing exactly that. It can be so easy to make a quick decision without taking time to talk to God about it. We can simply just react and before we know it, we have made a bad choice. 

Over the next 10 days, we want to dive into what the Bible tells us about wisdom by looking at verses in the book of Proverbs. God doesn’t just leave us alone to figure out how to make wise choices; the Bible is God’s instruction book on how to live wisely. Proverbs 2 reminds us that the first place to start when we are looking for wisdom is to simply take some time to talk to God and ask for it. God is the ultimate source of wisdom and he is waiting for you to just ask him for it.

Challenge: Your challenge today is to take some time and talk to God.  We want to challenge you to ask him to give you wisdom when it comes to the choices you are currently making. Take some time to truly be honest with him and ask him to help you make wise choices in all areas of your life. Be sure to specifically ask him to help you in any area where you might currently be struggling.
