There are lots of great quotes about God’s calling and that we shouldn’t fear or shrink from what He calls us to. 

“God calls the available, not the able.”

“God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.”

“What God orders, He pays for.”

And one I just read this morning… 

“When God called you, He already factored in your stupidity.” 

It's true what Paul says to the Romans:

"…And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

Bottom line: He knows your frame. He knows what you’re capable of. He doesn’t need you to remind Him of your weakness, your imperfections, your frailties, your wandering, or your disqualifications. It was for these He left His throne to redeem.

Your enemy repeats those accusations like a mantra to keep you from fulfilling your calling. When God hears you telling Him all the reasons you can’t, He knows who you’re quoting. He knows whose word is really getting to your heart. And He weeps for you. He is jealous for YOU! And He sings over YOU!

That’s why He came. That’s why He died. That’s why HE LIVES!

He created you. For such a time as this.

Walk in His truth. Walk in His calling. Walk in the light of how beautifully and wonderfully made you are.
