Following Jesus is an invitation into a relationship, and we can’t be in a relationship with Jesus and not be changed. This transforming work is sometimes called sanctification. As we grow in our relationship with Jesus, we begin to reflect Him more and more.
God has revealed certain channels that He consistently uses to bring about our sanctification. So why wouldn’t we build habits in our spiritual life around these channels of Scripture and prayer?
