Order My Steps.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” Psalms‬ ‭37:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Let God order your steps. Let God lead your actions. Let God lead and shape your heart. Let His Word heal, transform and deliver your soul. Let His Word penetrate every area of your heart. Let His Word shed Light on the framework of your life.

Psalms‬ ‭119:133‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.” Let His Word have dominion over your life. 

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for, “Dominion” is, ‘shalat’ (H7980) which means, “To domineer, exercise power over, dominate, have mastery, be master, to lord it over, to give power.” 

When you are in Christ, sin does not have the authority to lord over you. When you surrender to Christ, sin does not have the authority to rule over your heart. 

Who is your master? Who is your lord? Who has dominion over your heart? Surrender to His Word and let not sin reign over your heart, mind and soul.

Philippians‬ ‭2:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Let Christ’s Way of doing things rule, reside and rest in the borders of your heart. Let His Way of doing things build and reshape the foundation and framework of your heart and family. 

Pattern yourself after His Word. Pattern your life after God’s Way of doing things. Let Christ be your example. “Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]” Philippians‬ ‭2:5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. Let His Word rule your heart. 

Action:

Be intentional and follow God’s Word. Pick a scripture and begin to pattern your life after His Word. 

Decide to be a “doer” of the Word. Start somewhere and allow His Word to rule over your life. Despise not small beginnings.
