Let No Corrupt Communication Proceed From Your Mouth.

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Sow words of grace. Sow words of kindness. Sow words of wisdom into others. Your words can build up or tear down. John‬ ‭6:63‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Speak life. Choose to build up others with your words. 

Choose to edify and build up one another. Let no corrupt or foul communication proceed from your mouth. Let your words minister to the heart of others. Consider your words before you speak. 

James‬ ‭1:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:” Choose to be swift to hear and slow to speak. Season your words with grace. Season your words with the Love of Christ. 

Be careful how you respond to others. Respond with care. Let Christ lead your language. Let the Word of God lead your tongue. Choose to respond softly. Proverbs‬ ‭15:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.”

Your words can contaminate the heart of others. Let God use your words to heal, minister and restore others back to Him. “It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.” John‬ ‭6:63‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. 

Choose to let God use you. Let Christ use your words to reveal His Love through you. Let God lead your Heart. Let God lead every word that proceedeth out of your mouth. “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Action:

Pray before you respond to others. Ask God to give you wisdom before you speak. Let Christ season your words.
