Draw Nigh To God.

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Draw nigh to God. Draw close to Him. Surrender your heart to Christ and watch God heal your heart. Psalms‬ ‭24:3-4 KJV‬‬ declares, “Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.” Cleanse your hands from the past by surrendering every area of your heart to God. Let His Word purify you. Let His Word direct you. Let His Word set you free. Freedom is a choice.

Choose to fill your heart with thanksgiving. Fill your lips with His Love. Let His Word purify you. Let His Love purge away everything that’s not like Him. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Stay close to His Word and hide His Word in your heart. Psalms‬ ‭119:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” 

Treasure His Word. Keep His Word close to your heart. Let His Word build the framework of your heart. Don’t waver from what God has commanded you to do. Don’t veer from what God is saying. Let the Principles and Precepts of His Word lead and guide the course of your heart. James‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” Stay planted and you will become fruitful. 

Stay faithful and you will bring forth fruit. Choose to be thankful in all seasons. Don’t let bitterness steal your harvest. Don’t let bitterness choke your heart. Don’t let bitterness contaminate the ground of your heart. Don’t waver. Choose to draw close to God. Choose to draw nigh to Christ. Choose to lay at His feet. Surrender to Him and let His Word lead and guide your footsteps.

Family Action:

A double minded man or woman is unstable in all of their ways. Choose to focus on Christ and draw close to Him daily. Set aside a personal prayer time to pray and commune with God. Thank Him for all that He has done.
