Unshakable (David Ewing)

I remember hearing “Unshakable” for the first time and hearing an anthem being declared. For me personally, I couldn’t have heard this anthem at a better time as my wife and I were going through a major health battle with our baby girl. Before she was even born we were given negative reports about her that included death, decay and decline. Throughout her life we have continually been given impossible “facts” and told that she will never be able to do many things.

Your name, your name is higher Oh God, Your reign above it all You stand alone Unshakable

Those words are a declaration of truth above the facts. The name of Jesus is above sickness, disease, death, failure to thrive and so many more negative facts that our circumstances want to proclaim over us. We have this hope that Jesus has the final word, not the facts of our circumstance. (1 Peter 5:8-11 MSG)

Jesus said, "I came so they can have a real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of." (John 10:10 MSG). Whatever you faced yesterday, are facing today or may face tomorrow, we pray that this song will lift your faith in anthem praise that our God is unshakable even through the tough times that might shake us.
