In order to have great expectations, you need to have great goals.
When God says something to you, make sure you record it because your spiritual enemy is an expert at stealing the seeds of truth that God wants to plant. The very act of putting your goals on the page or screen produces a testimony.
It seals a memory, and it helps to hold you accountable for your goals. Record the goals that God instilled in your heart.
To have great expectations is to understand that the floodgates of the LORD’S blessings and favor have been opened!
Action is needed in order to bring our vision to fruition, but expectation is what’s needed to get our vision off the ground in the first place! Expectation is needed for lift-off and action keeps our vision in the air. Consistency, dedication, discipline, and perseverance will carry us to our destination!
You’re ready!
You’re purposed!
You’re prepared!
I believe that too many of us are addicted to this feeling called “ready.” We're dependent on things happening at the “right time” or being “prepared" but the Bible isn't full of people who had a plan.
Noah was told to build a boat where there was no water! David fought and killed a giant with no armor, just a sling and a stone. Moses was told to find water held within a rock!
So many people miss moments because of their need to “be ready.” They let the fear of rejection, the fear of humiliation, and the fear of failure make their decisions for them. Don’t wait for the perfect time, because you'll never have it all figured out. Set out to reach your goals, and see your great expectations come to fruition this year!
