PURPOSE

The fact that God wants to be with you says all you need to know about yourself. One of the major challenges that our world and, honestly, all of us as individuals struggle with is the lack of value that we feel deeply within ourselves. The enemy is constantly trying to undermine our identity and value. If he can get you to see yourself without value, you'll live way below your potential and won't fulfill your purpose.

When God chose to identify himself as "with us", he declared passionately and emphatically that you and I have great value. From the beginning, God declares, "Let's make man in our likeness." You are made and handcrafted by God. We are the children of God and like any father, His desire is to be with us.

Psalm 139 is one of the most iconic chapters in the Bible that speaks to our value. These verses are worth reading over and over again:

It's important to note that God has a plan and purpose that he is working out on Earth. The fact that you are alive today means that your specific and unique personality is just what He needs to fulfill his mission on Earth. You have great value and a great purpose!

PRAYER

Today I remind myself that you created and made me with unrivaled value. Forgive me Lord if I've ever spoken poorly of myself and downplayed the value that I have in you. Thank you for carefully and specifically designing me. Amen
