I’m a disciple when I choose Jesus to be my Lord.
The Bible verse Romans 10:9 teaches us to say, “Jesus is Lord!” A lord is the leader that rules over something. You get to choose who or what is lord over you. Have you chosen Jesus to be the kindest, best Lord of your life? Is He your only leader? Or are you controlled by the things you have, the feelings you feel, or the thoughts you think, like the rich young ruler was?
Tell Someone: Are you ready to leave behind anything that is lord over you, so Jesus is the only Lord in your life? Why or why not?
