Man and Eden
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” (Genesis 2:15)
God did not take man and put him in the Garden of Eden only to enjoy it, but to work it and take care of it. This was man’s first responsibility. The same thing applies to each promise God has given us. There are things that we need to work on in order for His promises to be fulfilled. After they are fulfilled, we must also take care of them.
