MOTION X: Living In MOTIONSample

You received  a new identity in God when you gave your life to Jesus. You not only became a Christian; you became a child of God. No matter what your relationship with your earthly father looks like, you now have a perfect father in God– a Father that understands you, cares for you, and loves you more than you could ever imagine.

When we find our identity in our Heavenly Father, we don’t have to accept to who other people say we are. The only person that can name us is the One who created us. Our pasts, successes, failures or talents cannot define us.

We are more than followers of Christ; we are sons and daughters of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We belong to a new family and have been made co-heirs with Jesus. The God who created us calls us His children. 

I am a Child of God, and nothing can change my identity!
