What If?
The Lord will protect you and keep you safe from all dangers.
The Lord will protect you now and always wherever you go.
Psalm 127:7–8 (CEV)
What if? What if we get sick? What if someone we love gets hurt? What if a big storm comes? What if other kids don’t like me? What if my dog gets lost?
We can probably worry about a million possible bad things. But it’s not healthy for us to worry. And God doesn’t want us to be afraid all the time. Instead, he promises to protect us! He wants us to think about him and all the good things he does for us.
And when the bad things do happen, we know God will help us through. He doesn’t always stop bad things from happening, but he makes us strong so we can keep going. He gives us hope.
On the days when we’re sad, God’s hand holds us and lifts us up.
With his great help, there will be good days again. He promises it in the Bible!

Cows will babysit for each other! If you see a herd of cows with baby calves, you might see one or two moms laying in the field with lots of babies around her while the other moms are eating grass nearby. (They learned protection from God!)
