Ngokuba kusobala ukuthi iNkosi yethu yavela kwaJuda; isizwe uMose angakhulumanga lutho ngaso ngobupristi. Kusesobala kakhulu ukuthi kuvele omunye umpristi ofana noMelkisedeki. ongenziwanga ngokomthetho womyalo wenyama, kodwa ngokwamandla okuphila okungenasiphelo. Ngalokho-ke wenziwa umpristi ngaphandle kwesifungo; (Ngokuba labo abapristi benziwa ngaphandle kwesifungo, kodwa lokhu ngesifungo ngaye owathi kuye: INkosi yafunga, kayiyikuzisola: Wena ungumpristi kuze kube nininini ngokwendlela kaMelkisedeki;) Ngakho uJesu waba yisibambiso sesivumelwano esingcono. Futhi ngempela babebaningi abapristi, ngoba ukufa kwakunqatshelwe ukuqhubeka. Kepha yena, ngokuba ehlala phakade unobupristi obungenakuguquleka. Ngakho unamandla okusindisa ngokupheleleyo abeza kuNkulunkulu ngaye, lokhu ephilela njalo ukubakhulekela. Akadingi, njengabanye abaphristi abakhulu, ukuba imihla ngemihla anikele ngemihlatshelo ngenxa yezono zakhe kuqala, bese kuba ngenxa yezabantu, ngokuba wakwenza lokho kwaba kanye mhla ezinikela Yena. Ngokuba umthetho ubeka abantu abanobuthakathaka ngokwemvelo ukuba babe ngabaphristi abakhulu, kodwa izwi lesifungo elalandela umthetho libeka iNdodana ephelelisiwe, kuze kube phakade.
