生命河每日靈修專線是劉彤牧師在1996年開始的靈修事工，每天以電話錄音提供五分鐘逐章逐節的讀經內容，並且搭配劉牧師溫暖有力的禱告。兩年後近一步與電話公司合作，把語音檔案傳輸到全美各地電話號碼。這些年隨科技進步，靈修專線再度升級為使用不同的網路平台來傳播。劉彤牧師以五年多時間共講解了二十多卷聖經書卷，並於2009年把近兩千個音檔打字做成靈修小品文，將文字與音檔配合，提供弟兄姊妹靈修的不同管道。

靈修最理想的時間是在早晨，我們要為主從仇敵的迷惑中、肉體的安逸中、世界的忙碌中搶奪每個早晨。得著早晨，就得著一天。早晨抓不住，也難以抓著全天。每日清早「拾取嗎哪」是基督徒奔走屬天道路得勝的秘訣！
