Discover God's Promises!預覽
Do you want to enter into His promises?
Now that we know that God makes promises and is faithful to keep them, what do we do to enter into His promises to fully possess them?
In your opinion, are there conditions that need to be met in order to access God’s promises?
The Bible doesn’t mention “prerequisites” or “access conditions.” In fact, God is no respecter of persons. That means He’s impartial...He doesn’t play favorites! He rejects no one, and He does not reject you! (see Romans 2:11)
Rather, the Bible indicates that God’s promises are for all those who place their trust in Jesus.
The Word does mention, though, the circumstances through which certain “heroes of the faith” inherited the promises of God. For example, Sarah:
Hebrews 11:11: “By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.”
Faith is necessary to inherit God’s promises. To win your most beautiful victories often you’ll need to have an unshakeable faith that sees the reward on the other side of the most difficult of circumstances.
Patient endurance will help you too when the promise is slow in coming…
Hebrews 6:15: “And so, after he [Abraham] had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.”
Sometimes, you will wait a long time before the promise is fulfilled...so it’s good to remain tenacious and persistent in your faith in the One who can do all things.
God’s promises are for you, just within your reach. Don’t give up!
