A los ocho días de nacido será circuncidado todo varón que haya entre ustedes, en todas sus generaciones; lo mismo los nacidos en casa como los comprados por dinero a cualquier extranjero, y que no sean de su linaje. Será circuncidado el que nazca en tu casa, y el que compres con tu dinero; mi pacto estará en la carne de ustedes como pacto perpetuo.
